Point Lobos, Big Sur & Fisherman's Wharf, Monterrey

Sara and I drove down to her parents house in Monterrey, further South from San Francisco. An awesome weekend at their lovely home and exploring the gorgeous surrounds!

Walking trail at Point Lobos, Big Sur.

Rather misty and cool! Old whaler's hut across the small bay.

Poison Oak!

The picturesque Fisherman's Wharf down in Monterrey. The weather had cleared by lunchtime and it was a positively gorgeous day.

Loads of galleries and quirky souvenir shops.

First taste of clam chowder, in a sour-dough bread bowl, and it is delicious!

Fresh water taffy and every other sweet you could imagine for sale!
