Hello San Francisco!!

Left sunny Hawaii and Life's A Dream behind on Monday evening and arrived in gorgeous San Francisco Tuesday morning to spend two weeks with good friends Sara and Charlie. Had delicious bagels before dropping Charlie off at work in the financial district, browsed around local farmers market at one of the piers selling the freshest organic produce and headed out to Vallejo along the Golden Gate Bridge. Great introduction to a very cool city and so excited to have two such awesome friends as my guides!

All local produce, huge emphasis on organic and sustainable agriculture and friendliest vendors who have samples of everything for you to try out.

Sara with gorgeous dog at the market.

Inside the pier is a market place with a collection of bakeries, delis and speciality stores. The taste sensation tour continued with samples of citrus olive oils, wild flower honeys and a ton more!

View of bay bridge from outside the marketplace.

Driving along Golden Gate in thick mist.

Slightly misted over view of the famous bridge, no less impressive though!

Sara in the freezing cold. Mark Twain once said the coldest he has ever been was a summer in San Francisco. I believe him! As soon as the mist clears, the weather is just gorgeous though.
