On the way to Galapagos!

Over a week of sailing, terrible head winds for the first few days meant we were beating into the wind under motor (no sailing!). Very luckily the winds change for the better, two great days of sailing, which is a good thing given the propeller fell off one of the engines in the middle of the Pacific! Quite rough oceans but lots of time for reading, napping and contemplating the shape of my toes. Two most interesting things that happened -

Nice sunset one evening.

A Red Footed Boobie - bird with bright blue beak and red feet that slept on the bow of the boat overnight, quite tame and has a rather cool name.
